A Quick Word on Jabhat al Nusra

So apparently Jabhat al Nusra are gaining in popularity because they don't steal, murder or behave like thugs. They are also, apparently, proving themselves to be disciplined and capable enough when facing the regime's soldiers, and when they capture booty they distribute whatever spare capacity they find to those in need.

Sorry, but apart from the fact that I don't support their ideology or vision of Syria, why should the average Syrian care what the United States labels them? The world doesn't want to arm the FSA, it doesn't want to aid Syrian refugees, and then it tut-tuts when an al Qaeda inspired movement emerges to prominence in the vacuum. Perhaps the world would like Syrians to just roll over and die. And it's not like the regime has needed any excuse to continue the killing over the past two years, whether it is faced with peaceful protests or armed rebellion.
