On Arab royalty

Princess Haya bint al Hussein: When people are starving to death, what use is medicine?

This epiphany comes shortly after the launch of Queen Rania's very own Youtube channel, you can watch it here. I wonder if she will launch an Arabic version of this channel for her Arab viewers. There are worrying stereotypes in the Arab world of the Jordanian royal family as being collaborators with the Israelis and the Americans. Apparently this is boosted by the fact that the King of Jordan is half English and educated at Sandhurst, a British military academy. The British army is currently occupying Iraq along with the United States and is also one of Israel's staunchest supporters. His father was also said to routinely pass on secret information to Israel and personally, by flying to them in his helicopter. Please Queen Rania, who is of Palestinian origin, can you tell us why your husbands family are traitors? Princess Haya is married to the ruler of Dubai who quite happily presided over the opening of the first Marks and Spencers in Dubai in 1998. Marks and Spencers is the staunchest and most prominent supporter of the Zionist state and now operates quite openly throughout the Emirates. So you're sister in law is also married to someone who doesn't mind the fact that Israel is occupying Arab land as long as he gets to make money with them. Please tell us why you should all not go the way of the French Monarchy...

We all appreciate your openess Queen Rania.
