As'ad on Angry Arab made a valid criticism about some petition which criticises Wikipedia for putting depictions of the Prophet Muhammad on his entry there. He's right - Not only were those medieval depictions of him made by Muslims, but they've been around for centuries. I've seen them before and never been offended though I understand why it is frowned upon. Religion is not a cure for stupidity.
Incidentally, does anybody know where those stupid online petitions go in the end? I heard that if I create a petition demanding the abdication of King Abdullah (aka PS2 King) then he will say ok and leave. Is this true?
