This weekend I was exposed to the strange strange world of Lebanon's "majority" who were part of the 'Cedar' Revolution. I just watched, listened and enjoyed the party - I'm not quite sure how to articulate what I saw and heard yet though. I don't think I could have asked for a better embodiment of Kamal Salibi's "House of Many Mansions" than this weekend - it was just so very.... strange.

On this note, have you read Kamal Salibi's work, where he offers his personalized reading on the origins and "reality" of Judaism and specially Christianity in a number of books and basically his research derives from studying the etimology of biblical names/places.

Hmm no I haven't. I have read some very interesting books about the origins of Middle Eastern mythology and religions. I'd be interested in checking it out!
