I don't need "your" way of life to live
First, the world focuses on Darfur. Now the fashion is Burma. Meanwhile twelve people were killed in a rocket attack in Gaza and Israel prepares for a massive onslaught there. So please, don't mention Darfur or Burma to me. Don't come and tell me you are "pro-democracy", if you knew what you are talking about, you'd realise that's something you should be condemned for, not praised.
Incidentally, doesn't anybody realise that both Darfur and Burma have massive gas reserves and natural resources?

You're not the only one thinking this way, Wassim!

I have no idea what your link implied!
The article's subtitle is this:
"Iran's leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has promised $1bn (£493m) to help Bolivia exploit oil and gas reserves."
The implication is that, in spite of lip service, Ahmedinijad (and the rest of the world, really) isn't about to give the Palestinians a billion dollars.
:)
Who told you they are not giving the Palestinians money? Also, where do you think the boxes of cash to rebuild the south of Lebanon last year came from?
Iran is spending money in a lot of places, that is why America is losing it's war in the M.E.
Oh, I'm sure the Iranians are giving money to the Palestinians, but nowhere close to a billion dollars. There are no natural resources in Gaza, unless you consider 1.5 million very angry people a natural resource. And yes, the boxes of counterfeit American dollars that showed up in South Lebanon last year were probably from Iran.
As for America losing its war in the ME, I think it's more about incompetence than money.
So now the Iranians are giving money to the Palestinians, before they weren't? What will the Palestinians do with 1 billion dollars while under seige?
As for South Lebanon, you also know that Saddam Hussein was never hanged and is now hiding with the Russian mafia in Kazakhstan? This is Maysaloon Julius, not jihadwatch.com or Daniel Pipes. You give America far more credit than it deserves though, then again, I'm not surprised.
What will the Palestinians do with a billion dollars while under siege? Oh, I don't know. Maybe they'll eat? Build an infrastructure? Are you saying money should be withheld from the Palestinians until the siege is lifted? Good luck with that.
And, Wassim, I know it's Maysaloon (isn't that where the French crushed the Syrians and established colonial rule?). What credit to I give America? And why aren't you surprised?
Julius,
I ask you again, what will a billion dollars do to Palestinians under seige? They cannot eat that money, they cannot build infrastructure which will be destroyed again. The problem is you almost consider the seige to be an act of nature, not as malicious and deliberate.
