Iran, again...

William Hague, is far more concerned that Iran obtain nuclear weapons, than that Israel already has them. Last time I checked, Israel's foreign policy has resulted in far more civilian deaths among Arabs both in the Occupied territories and in neighbouring regions (grimly demonstrated in the last month in Lebanon) than that of Iran. Furthermore it was Britain and the United States who turned a blind eye to Saddam's use of chemical weapons as well as his brutal invasion of Iran. I think overall, Iran has proved far more responsible in it's use of force than have the West (including Israel) wouldn't you?

Interestingly, why is Saddam only being charged for some forgotten massacre he perpetrated in the early eighties, and not for the gassing of Kurds in Halabja amongst other crimes? Could it be that the wise and "responsible" United States and United Kingdom wouldn't want information of their complicity in Saddam's war with Iran? I do recall there was no international outcry when these massacres were reported, and are played down even today.
