Somebody once said to me, "It's so hard to find the truth". I disagreed and said, "No, it is harder to follow it".

How hard it is to pick up that telephone, to apologise, to get laughed at. But the pain is not a betrayal because we followed the truth, as I had felt at the time, it is there to cleanse us of pride. We are afraid of the pain from following through and doing what is right, or following what feels right with every fibre of our being. I have decided not to be afraid of humiliation, embarrassment or insult. I just hope I have the strength to listen to that little voice of reason which I have ignored so often out of anger. I've also decided my door will always be open, and the past will never be a barrier to that openness. Those who wish to walk back through it will always be welcome...

the hardest thing in life is to keep a balance between the 'Deen' and the 'Dunia'..
